Part 1 · Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to and use of Quote Compass, including insurance matching, real-time submission management, provider connections, marketing directories, commercial or professional accounts, communications, informational content, automated quote-routing tools, and related services.

Please read these Terms carefully. By visiting Quote Compass, submitting information, creating an account, electronically accepting a disclosure, or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform or submit information through it.

Quote Compass is not an insurance agency, brokerage, carrier, or underwriter. We do not provide insurance policies, binders, underwriting decisions, or legal/financial advice.

Submitting information does not bind coverage. An insurance policy or binder exists only after a licensed carrier or agent separately approves your application, assesses your risk, and issues a formal policy.

Participating providers pay Quote Compass. Routing and marketplace visibility are programmatically influenced by geography, capacity, real-time bidding campaigns, and contractual compensation.

1. Agreement and Definitions

These Terms form an agreement between you and Quote Compass. In these Terms, “Quote Compass,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator and its authorized affiliates, contractors, and service providers where the context requires.

“Platform” means Quote Compass and its websites, landing pages, forms, inquiry tools, widgets, directories, dashboards, application programming interfaces (APIs), communications, software, automated routing engines, and related services.

“Participating Provider” means an insurance carrier, independent broker, agent, risk underwriter, lead-routing network, or other authorized professional or organization that may receive, purchase, or review information through the Platform.

Additional terms, disclosures, consents, insertion orders, subscription agreements, or publisher agreements may apply to particular services. If they conflict with these Terms, the more specific signed or electronically accepted agreement controls for that specific service.

2. Quote Compass Is Not an Underwriter or Broker

Quote Compass operates an advertising, technology, informational, quote-intake, and automated routing connection platform. Quote Compass is not a licensed insurance provider, does not broker insurance products, and does not provide financial advice, insurance coverage evaluations, or binding quotes.

Information available through the Platform is general information only. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed insurance professional in your specific jurisdiction who has reviewed your unique financial, vehicle, medical, or property circumstances.

Quote Compass is not a government agency, state insurance commissioner office, health insurance exchange platform, or utility service. Do not use the Platform for an immediate or emergency insurance requirement.

3. No Underwriting Relationship

Visiting the Platform, completing a questionnaire, submitting an inquiry, receiving an automated score or estimate, communicating with Quote Compass, or having information delivered to a Participating Provider does not create a binding insurance policy, broker relationship, or fiduciary duty.

An insurance contract or binder may be formed only when a Participating Provider independently approves your risk profile and you complete any required enrollment forms or premium payments directly with that provider.

Quote Compass is not a party to any insurance contract or policy agreement formed between you and a provider. Quote Compass does not supervise insurance services, control premium rates, establish policy terms, or guarantee any provider's financial solvency or conduct.

Communications with Quote Compass are transactional, pass-through, and not protected by insurance broker-client privileges or statutory confidentiality duties.

4. Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms to use the Platform or submit information for yourself.

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. A parent, legal guardian, executor, administrator, or other authorized representative may submit information for another person or entity only when legally authorized to do so.

When submitting information concerning another person, property, or entity, you represent that you have full legal authority to provide the information, receive related communications, and request matching services. You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information and to correct material inaccuracies immediately.

5. Inquiry Submissions and Routing

When you submit information about a potential insurance or quote inquiry, you authorize Quote Compass to receive, process, organize, enrich, classify, summarize, transmit, and otherwise route that information to operate the Platform and seek potential network connections.

A submission may include names, contact details, telephone numbers, email addresses, zip codes, property parameters, vehicle identifiers, or other descriptions relevant to matching an insurance line.

You represent that you have the right to submit all information and materials you provide and that your submission does not violate another person’s privacy, contractual, or intellectual property rights.

Do not submit original or irreplaceable digital files. Quote Compass operates an ephemeral data pipeline and does not guarantee permanent storage, historical retrieval, or successful transmission of submitted materials. A submission is not an official insurance application or an official insurance claim filing.

6. Sensitive Information

Insurance inquiries may involve sensitive consumer attributes. Provide only information explicitly requested through our secure form fields. Unless specifically requested through a verified, secure operational process, do not submit full Social Security numbers, financial account passwords, or unrequested identifiers.

Quote Compass is generally not a healthcare clearinghouse, financial repository, or health provider. Information submitted to Quote Compass should not be assumed to receive the specific statutory protections that apply when files are kept directly by a licensed medical office or retained financial fiduciary. Our handling of personal data is further described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Automated and Real-Time Bidding Engines

The Platform uses automated systems, real-time bidding algorithms, programmatic sorting models, and third-party API technologies to process, classify, value, and route information.

Automated outputs, pricing estimations, or matching speeds may be incomplete, delayed, or subject to technical variance. They do not constitute a final underwriting offer, guaranteed premium rate, or prediction of policy eligibility.

No automated match score or routing decision obligates any insurance carrier or firm to accept your risk or issue a policy. Participating Providers make their own independent choices. You should independently verify important premium data and should not rely exclusively on automated calculations to finalize binding decisions.

8. Platform Content and Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original software, design, branding, databases, selection, arrangement, text, graphics, interfaces, and functionality are owned by or licensed to Quote Compass and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, Quote Compass grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Platform for lawful personal or authorized business purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit protected Platform material without explicit written permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, or products remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to them does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

9. Copyright and Rights Complaints

If you believe content available through the Platform infringes a copyright or other right, send a detailed notice through our website. The notice must include your contact information, identification of the protected work, location of the challenged material, a statement of unauthorized use, and your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove or restrict material as appropriate under applicable law. Knowingly submitting a false claim may create legal liability.

10. Privacy and Data Processing

Our Privacy Policy describes how we process, transfer, and protect personal information and explains applicable choices. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that information will be processed and dynamically transferred by Quote Compass, its service providers, Participating Providers, network bidders, analytics providers, and other authorized recipients as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform contains integrations with third-party software, routing exchanges, ping-tree bidding platforms, analytics networks, and communication tools.

Third parties operate independently and maintain separate terms, privacy policies, and security practices. Quote Compass does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, calling scripts, text messaging practices, or transactions. Your use of a third-party service is governed by your agreement with that specific party.

12. Electronic Records and Signatures

By using the Platform, electronically checking a consent box, entering your name, clicking a submission button, or taking another action identified as acceptance, you agree to conduct the applicable transaction electronically.

Electronic actions, records, acknowledgments, and signatures have the exact same legal effect as paper records and handwritten signatures. You are responsible for maintaining a device and connection capable of accessing and displaying electronic records.

13. Availability, Security, and Data Ephemerality

We work to maintain the Platform but do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free access. The Platform may be affected by maintenance, API defects, telecommunications failures, cloud-provider outages, cyberattacks, utility failures, or third-party server issues.

No transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Because Quote Compass routes data ephemerally, you acknowledge that we do not preserve historical databases of your demographic submissions. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue Platform features at any time for security or operational improvements.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT, TOOLS, CONNECTIONS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

QUOTE COMPASS DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND RESULTS.

Quote Compass does not warrant that:

• The Platform will always be available, secure, current, or error-free.
• A form submission will be successfully received, processed, or answered by the bidding platform.
• A particular insurance provider is available or competitive.
• An automated routing decision or pricing estimate is accurate.
• Communications will be delivered within a specific timeframe.

15. Insurance Providers, Buyers, and Professional Users

Professional users, including insurance agents, carriers, brokers, aggregate networks, and bidding participants (collectively, "Lead Buyers"), are responsible for complying with all laws, licensing, advertising, privacy, TCPA consent obligations, and professional standards applicable to their activities.

A professional user may not use Platform information for unauthorized solicitation, double-broking, resale, redistribution, harassment, or any purpose unrelated to servicing the requested insurance quote.

Lead Buyers must protect submitted information, limit access to authorized personnel, honor valid communication or opt-out preferences, and delete or return data when required by law.

Nothing on the Platform guarantees a specific number, quality, jurisdiction, value, exclusivity, conversion rate, or outcome of any lead, inquiry, or bidding campaign. Commercial terms between Quote Compass and a professional user are governed by the applicable signed master service agreement, order, or account terms.

16. Publishers, Affiliates, and Traffic Sources

Publishers, affiliates, influencers, marketing partners, and traffic providers routing traffic to our forms must accurately identify themselves and comply with all advertising, endorsement, privacy, telemarketing, and consumer protection laws.

They may not impersonate Quote Compass, an insurance carrier, a government exchange, or a state regulator. They may not make unauthorized promises about premium rates, absolute eligibility, policy approvals, or cost savings.

Fraudulent, duplicate, bot-driven, fabricated, incentivized, manipulated, or nonconsensual submissions will be rejected, withheld, investigated, or reversed. Quote Compass may review traffic sources, landing pages, advertisements, and consent records for compliance.

17. Consumer Cost and Platform Monetization

Quote Compass does not charge consumers to submit a matching or quote inquiry. Participating Providers and professional users pay Quote Compass for advertising, lead routing, technology, API access, marketing, or dynamic delivery services.

Insurance premium fees and policy expenses are governed solely by the separate agreement between a consumer and the issuing insurance carrier. Consumers should carefully review policy terms, exclusions, limits, and deductibles before signing a policy or paying a premium.

18. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or fabricated information.
• Impersonate another person or organization, or submit data without authorization.
• Interfere with the Platform, its security, or another user’s access.
• Probe, scan, test, bypass, or defeat security or access controls.
• Upload malware, harmful code, or destructive content.
• Scrape, harvest, crawl, index, copy, or extract Platform data without authorization.
• Use automated systems to submit inquiries without permission.
• Use Platform information to train an artificial intelligence model without written permission.
• Use the Platform to spam, harass, or unlawfully solicit consumers or professionals.

We may investigate suspected misuse and preserve or disclose relevant information when necessary to protect the Platform or comply with law.

19. Submitted Content and License

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights required to operate the Platform. You grant Quote Compass a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, parse, process, format, analyze, transmit, and display submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the Platform, process and route inquiries via real-time bidding, prevent fraud, provide technical support, and maintain compliance records.

This license applies to text, telephone metadata, electronic signatures, and related materials. It ends when no longer necessary, subject to legal, dispute, and contractual retention rules.

20. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quote Compass and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and expenses arising from:

• Your intentional misuse of the Platform.
• Your unlawful conduct or material violation of these Terms.
• Content you submit without legal authority or authorization.
• For professional users, your advertising, communications, intake, handling of leads, telemarketing practices, or downstream insurance activities.

Quote Compass may control the defense and settlement of a covered claim, provided that it will not agree to a settlement imposing an admission or nonmonetary obligation on you without your reasonable consent.

21. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Quote Compass is not responsible for delay, interruption, or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, utility failures, telecommunications failures, cloud-service outages, cyber incidents, programmatic API dropouts, or third-party service failures.

22. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, maintain security, comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect Platform operations.

Termination does not eliminate obligations or rights that arose before termination. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, disputes, and records survive.

23. Changes to the Platform or These Terms

We may update the Platform and these Terms to reflect service, operational, legal, security, or business changes. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance. Material changes do not apply retroactively where prohibited by law.

24. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a lawsuit concerning these Terms or the Platform, you and Quote Compass agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally, except when immediate injunctive relief is necessary.

A dispute notice must describe the claimant, relevant submission parameters, facts, requested relief, and supporting information. Send notices through our website with the subject line “Legal Dispute Notice.” The parties will have 30 days after receipt to attempt resolution before filing suit.

25. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and disputes arising from or relating to the Platform are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law applies.

Subject to applicable jurisdictional requirements, any lawsuit arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.

You and Quote Compass consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts, except when applicable law gives a consumer a non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere.

26. Jury Trial Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY FOR A DISPUTE ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM.

27. Class Action Waiver

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAIMS MUST BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

28. Notices

Quote Compass may provide notices through the Platform, email, text message, or other contact details associated with your submission. You are responsible for keeping contact information current. Legal notices to Quote Compass must be sent through our website portal and must clearly identify the sender, matter, and requested action.

29. Order of Precedence

If applicable documents conflict, the following order controls:

• A signed commercial agreement specifically governing the transaction.
• A service-specific electronic agreement, campaign term, consent, or disclosure.
• These Terms.
• General Platform marketing materials.

The Privacy Policy separately governs personal information practices. An insurance policy separately governs the relationship between a consumer and an issuing carrier.

30. Miscellaneous

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable service-specific agreements constitute the entire agreement concerning use of the Platform. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written permission. Quote Compass may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of Platform operations. Section headings are for convenience only. These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, fiduciary, employment, or broker-client relationship.

Part 2 · Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Quote Compass ("we," "us," or "our") processes, handles, and transfers personal information collected through our automated real-time matching forms.

31. Real-Time Pass-Through Processing Notice

Quote Compass operates an ephemeral, real-time programmatic pass-through data model. We do not store or retain your personal demographic files long-term inside a static consumer database. The personal information you input into our web forms is captured, transiently packaged, and immediately transmitted via secure API endpoints to external real-time bidding exchanges and insurance networks. Once the transmission handshake is complete, the demographic payload is purged from our active transactional servers.

32. Categories of Personal Information We Process

When you interact with our website or complete an inquiry form, we temporarily process the following categories of information:

• Identifiers: Your full name, physical mailing address, email address, and primary telephone number.
• Commercial and Intent Data: The specific type of insurance coverage you are seeking (e.g., auto, home, health, life) and basic preferences required to match your lead.
• Technical & Network Activity Data: Your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device identifiers, timestamp of form submission, and unique compliance verification tokens (such as ActiveProspect TrustedForm or Jornaya LeadID certificates used to log legal consent).

33. How We Use Your Information (Purpose of Processing)

We process your personal information strictly to carry out the core commercial function of our platform:

• To programmatically package and route your insurance match request to interested third-party providers.
• To facilitate real-time bidding, allowing independent insurance carriers, brokers, or marketing networks to purchase the right to contact you with quotes.
• To generate legal verification certificates that prove you provided valid consent at the exact second you pressed our submission button, protecting the integrity of the routing network.

34. Sale, Sharing, and Disclosure of Personal Information

Under state privacy frameworks (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act/CCPA, Texas Data Privacy and Security Act/TDPSA, and others), transmitting your contact information to external providers via a commercial bidding network qualifies legally as the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for a commercial purpose.

The Disclosure: By submitting our form, you authorize Quote Compass to sell, share, and disclose your identifiers (name, address, phone number, email) to our network of participating insurance providers, aggregates, independent brokers, and programmatic platform buyers.

Downstream Status: Once your data is accepted by the winning bidder, that entity acts as an independent Data Controller regarding your information. They maintain their own independent privacy boundaries, over which Quote Compass exercises no operational control.

35. Data Retention

Because we utilize an ephemeral data routing pipeline, your personal demographic details are processed transactionally. We do not retain names, phone numbers, or addresses in our logs. However, to defend against potential legal/compliance inquiries, comply with audit demands, and prove TCPA consent validity, we do permanently retain non-demographic metadata. This includes your submission timestamp, your IP address, and the unique URL link to your third-party compliance verification certificate (e.g., your TrustedForm token).

36. Your State Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may possess specific legal rights regarding your personal data under comprehensive state laws.

Right to Opt-Out / Do Not Sell My Info: Because we sell/share data in real-time via a bidding framework, clicking our form submission button constitutes an automated instruction to sell/share that specific transaction. If you wish to opt-out of data sales or sharing entirely, do not submit your information through our web forms.

Right to Deletion / Access: Since we do not statically store your demographic profile in a permanent database, we generally cannot look up, modify, or delete your contact records upon request, as they no longer exist in our ecosystem. To exercise deletion or opt-out rights for data already transferred, you must contact the winning bidder or independent carrier who purchased your specific inquiry.
